The studio behind Zova
Zova is a design and AI studio that helps small and mid-sized businesses with web design, branding, and practical AI training and consulting. We’re small on purpose: close enough to know your business, fast enough to keep up with it, and honest enough to tell you what you actually need instead of what’s easiest to sell.
Phil Moore, founder
Phil Moore started in IT, not design. He trained and worked as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer before making the jump into business ownership, launching an ecommerce venture in 2014 and selling it in 2016. That stretch taught him what actually matters to a small business owner trying to build something from nothing: speed, honesty, and someone who answers the phone.
After the sale, Phil traveled and worked directly with entrepreneurs before taking on the Head of Design role at Stackinet, leading a design team and stretching his experience well beyond ecommerce alone. Over a decade of hands-on client work later, that same practical, no-nonsense approach is what built Zova: a studio for small businesses that need agency-grade design and, increasingly, the AI skills to keep moving fast after launch.
Phil is based in Larnaca, Cyprus, and spends part of the year working from Asia. The studio is remote-first by design, not by compromise: it means Zova works with people from around the world, stays lean enough to keep prices fair, and never puts a slow office culture between you and the person actually doing your work.
What Zova is known for
-
Quality, every time
From concept to completion, every project gets the same standard: creative, consistent, considered work built around what your business actually needs, not a generic template.
-
Transparent pricing
Fixed project prices or a clear hourly rate, always agreed upfront. No surprise invoices, no scope creep billed after the fact.
-
Weeks, not months
Most projects ship in weeks because we keep the process lean and the team small enough to move fast, not because we cut corners.
-
Client satisfaction, built on trust
Most of our client relationships run years, not months, because we treat every project like the start of a partnership, not a one-off transaction.
-
Real communication
You'll hear from us within the same business day, typically. Questions get answered, not queued.
-
You own everything
Your artwork, your copyright, your accounts, your source files. Nothing is held hostage to keep you as a client.
Working remotely, working globally
Some studios treat remote as a limitation. We treat it as the reason Zova can offer agency-grade work at small-business prices: no office overhead, no unnecessary layers between you and the person doing the work, and a team that’s genuinely used to collaborating across time zones because that’s how we’ve always worked. Being based in Larnaca and spending part of the year in Asia doesn’t slow anything down; it’s part of how we stay lean.
