HOEK Home came to us as a well-established, thriving business that lacked a clear, comprehensive brand guide to support their growth into a recognisable brand. They had one primary brand colour identified, but their font choices didn’t match the brand image they wanted to project to customers. They commissioned us to build a detailed brand guide as the foundation for their branding going forward.
We were also tasked with developing a colour palette that complemented their products while giving them a versatile base for future marketing and design work. The goal was a unified, cohesive identity across both their online and physical presence. We generated several initial colour concepts and refined two sets further based on their input. The final selection was met with real enthusiasm from the HOEK Home team.
For fonts, the client was firm on using Times New Roman for their heading font, despite our recommendations toward alternatives. They were open to our suggestion of Trade Gothic for the body font, which we felt gave a clean, modern feel that suited the contemporary, distinctive nature of their products and strengthened their overall brand identity.
