Caligo

Caligo is a new retail venture launched by a client eager to turn a passion for clothing design into a business. With limited experience in web design, they wanted our help choosing the right theme and building a website that would look and function well within a tight starting budget.

The client wanted a clean, simple aesthetic and a seamless customer journey from homepage to checkout. They’d already invested in high-quality photography and video showcasing their products, and we built the site around those assets, using visual storytelling to create a premium-feeling store that would give customers confidence to buy.

We used Shopify’s metafields feature to link complementary products together, so customers could easily pair items, like a shirt and shorts, into a complete outfit.

Caligo also wanted Shopify’s Marketplace functionality, which lets them stock and fulfil inventory across multiple locations globally, so they can reach customers wherever they are with better efficiency.

After the initial launch, Caligo came back for further development, wanting specific sections built out to use the metafields feature even more, letting them add extra videos or images directly to product pages. With those extended pages, each product effectively works as its own landing page, giving customers everything they need to buy with confidence.
